The biography of Paweł Edmund Strzelecki was enshrouded in the aura of mystery, like the gust of red, desert dust carried by the wind, like clouds of fog sweeping Mount Kosciuszko.
The outstanding geologist, a fearless traveller, a noble man and curious explorer… but what kind of person Strzelecki was. The search for the answer to this question became the main task I set myself when writing this book.
